Founded in 1985, Silver City MainStreet is your local non-profit downtown revitalization organization, accredited by New Mexico MainStreet. Silver City MainStreet received the Great American MainStreet Award in 2011, the only New Mexico program to receive this honor.

In 2016 Silver City MainStreet was recognized by the state Historic Preservation Division for the renovation of the Silco Theater.

Your financial support as a partner supports our mission “to encourage a vibrant, historic downtown Silver City which is recognized as the heart of our diverse community.”

Our goal to maintain operations each year is $10,000.

Holiday Decoration Project

Silver City MainStreet decorates our downtown district each holiday season. We need funds to replace worn decorations and increase the number of decora- tion to make downtown Silver City the place to see holiday lights. Our goal each year is $5,000.
